Celebrities and Jobs

In the last week, I've seen Famke Janssen (of X-Men fame) and Elijah Wood. Ms. Janssen was spotted on the corner of Waverley Street and 6th Avenue, while Mr. Wood was getting a drink in Starbucks with a lady friend. Janssen is amazingly tall and looks great for her age (didn't have any makeup on). Wood, on the other hand, is the tiniest little thing ever. Very skinny, great skin and insanely blue eyes. I couldn't get past how short and skinny he was though.

I've been hunting for jobs, and today I struck gold. Pinkberry just opened a new store around the corner from me on Macdougal and Bleecker, and I've got a job there! Wooooo, finally some sort of income! I'm just wondering what the pay is like.....

So I've returned to the big apple for my fourth and final year at NYU. I'm excited to be back on familiar turf after spending the spring semester in Prague, but I'm also a little lost now. Disorientation is a daily issue, especially when navigating the West Village, but I'm getting back into it.

My class schedule is a mess, I have loads of reading for those classes and an internship at FUSE is on the horizon. If that's not enough to put me in a steady state of rushing, I'm on the hunt for a job. Retail, one of the school gyms, the library or a fro-yo joint are all favorable options.

I don't know if I've put too much on my plate, but we will soon find out as the semester has started to take its course.
